Lenten Journey 2016
11 Feb 2016

In the words of Revd. Mary Graham, Rector: “Each day new enemies appear in one form or another. Many cry ’How can we love, when all around there is conflict, lament and loss?’  BE WARNED “Casablanca depicts a world of gambling, smoking, drinking, killing and even accidental adultery.”

I pray that as we meet and study each week we will explore that beautiful friendship between our Creator and us, in Jesus His Son. I invite us to commit to journeying deeper as we try to further discover what that friendship means...What God in Christ has done and continues to do for us...and what we can do for Him.

Each Wednesday evening begins with Eucharist at 5:30p.m. A simple dinner and  an opening ice breaker in the Church hall will follow. Each session which will include two five minute scenes from the film, discussion, Bible Reading, reflection and brief writing will culminate with pray and the theme song “Draw me close to You” (available in our Video Gallery).

Let us we pray that God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, will reveal Himself to us and cause us to lay bare at His feet our struggles, our fears and anything that may hinder us from embracing the BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP that He lovingly offers. Every Blessing, Mary+
